Mr. Jawwad Ahmed Gill is an industrial chemist by training. He selected industrial chemistry as specialization to satisfy his research oriented approach. During MSc from university of agriculture along with his friends and teachers he developed a link between industry and chemistry department of University. He studied a number of chemical industries as a basic subject of his MSc. He additionally studied food technology, computer programming and fiber technology. With all his course work Alternative energy remain his hobby subject for which he always has time to read and practice, later on in practical life this passion resulted in “Biotech” a biogas company he is running.
As soon as he graduated, he got a job in an internationally reputed herbal medicine company “Qarshi Industries (pvt) Ltd.”. He being a research minded and fond of formulating new products, decided to study the Unani system thoroughly from the basics to advanced level. Fortunately, there was a library with good stuff & staff in Qarshi where he gone through almost all related available books during that period. That time, he developed his interest in herbal system and came to know it is the best healing system with minimum side effects. This system was established by best physicians of their age. The only missing thing is an updated research and a link between recent medical discoveries with basic philosophy of the herbal (Unani) system.
He found that herbal medical practitioners (Hakims) are generally not aware of recent advancements in medical sciences, latest research on herbs and herbal medicines. So he being associated with this system science 1996 felt his duty to establish a link between Time Tested, proven herbal system of healing and Modern Scientific research.
For this purpose he decided to study it in depth and have passed four year FTJ course from the oldest and reputed herbal college ANJMAN HAMYET-E-ISLAM TIBBIA COLLEGE LAHORE.
While at Qarshi he enhanced his skills and knowledge by studying MBA in Marketing from Preston University Lahore. He also studied and got trainings in ISO- GMP, GLP, HACCP,5S,Medicinal plants and herbal medicine.
With increased exposure of traditional system of Unani medicine and latest trends in industry he noticed the effects of globalization on industry with emerging quality standards, so he conducted workshops and trainings on 5S, HACCP, quality systems and quality standards. He offered consultancy to herbal, food and chemical industry in diversified areas and by Grace of Almighty ALLAH earned a good repute in apparently different fields but all related to chemistry.
At present he is serving in pharma and food industry as a consultant, where his area of expertise are New Product development and Quality Assurance.
He is Director Technical in a water treatment company viz Water Remedy Pvt Ltd.
He own a National Green energy company BioTech, involved in biogas systems where he established a number of success stories.
He believe that a lot of work has been carried out at different platforms on the same issues, all we need is to correlate the results and share the experiences, with this goal in focus he decided to open a window on this website for sharing useful links, experiences, research and valuable advice
